Partial Camping Review/Boating Review/Lunch Preview

That's a lot of Reviewing and Previewing and Slashing!

I did it! We went camping for the entire weekend....and I survived! More details about that to come as I gather my thoughts and photos.

My thoughts and photos from a nautical perspective are ready to be shared though!

Boating can be fun....

(Yes, I am now aware that the girls are wearing each other's life jackets/vests/PFDs. Don't worry though, the weight requirements are within limits. So, no nasty looks, please...not that you would :-P)

Boating can be disturbing....

Boating can be exhausting....

But best of all, boating can take you to a best burger I ever ate lunch at Pirate's Cove....

Not only was the food delicious, the experience was thoroughly entertaining on soooo many levels. But, guess what? You'll have to check back for a Pirate's Cove review, too. Sorry to do keep doing that to ya!

I've been a tad busy recovering from all the unpacking and laundry a camping trip produces. And, we're getting ready to go to Disney World to celebrate a certain little someone's fourth birthday!

That means it'll be a while before I post again. But, y'all are used to that, right!?! ;-)

Camping Preview

The very word "camping" conjures up the most unpleasant visions for me.

Insects, heat, sweat, discomfort, public bath house, critters, cramped quarters, and all other sorts of primitive illusions dance in my mind.

Guess what? I'm going camping in the very near future. In spite of all of this imagery, I am casting down vain imaginations and branching out. For my husband who grew up camping and loves it and for my girls who need the experience and will probably love it as well. And, for myself who needs to stretch beyond my comfort zone from time to time (ok, more and more).

After all, we will be camping in an RV. With electricity. And air-conditioning. It even has a mini kitchen with running water and a refrigerator. The park has Wi-Fi and a brand new pool.

Oh, and we plan to eat very well while there. We're going with our Aunt and Cousin who will make sure of that! And did I mention that we will be at the beach?

Suddenly, I feel a lot better about the situation. Maybe I'll make it! Blogging is good therapy!

Camping review post to follow soon. Check back to see if I survived roughing it!
